From Hobby to Passion: The Story Behind Little Legends Minis

Hello, and welcome to Little Legends Minis! I’m excited to share the story behind our little venture, which started out as a personal passion and has grown into something bigger—thanks to a bit of encouragement from my family and friends.

The Inspiration: Family, Dragons, and Witches

Little Legends Minis was born out of a love for creativity and family. The name itself is inspired by my two wonderful daughters, each with her own vivid imagination. One of them adores dragons, while the other has a fascination with witches, and so our logo—a blend of these two magical creatures—represents both of them and the heart behind this business.

What started as a hobby of 3D printing miniatures for tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder soon became something more. After years of printing for fun, my wife suggested, “Why not turn this into something official?” And with that, Little Legends Minis was born.

The Joy of Craftsmanship

I’ve always been driven by the desire to do things right. It’s not about making money; it’s about the satisfaction of bringing ideas to life with precision and care. That’s why I’ve invested in several high-quality 3D printers, ensuring that each miniature or custom piece I print meets the highest standards.

In this journey, I’m fortunate to collaborate with 3DPO, a close friend and an expert in mechanical printing. Together, we’ve not only explored new possibilities but also ventured into larger projects like producing trophies for the BECOSPLAY cosplay events. Supporting the cosplay community has been a rewarding experience, and we take pride in creating something tangible for such talented individuals.

Building a Presence in the Community

We’re not just sitting behind our printers—we’re out there, too. You’ll find us at various events across Belgium, where we get to meet fellow enthusiasts and showcase what we do. We’ll be at Day of Dungeons on March 8th at Saint Peter’s Abbey in Ghent, and we’re already building up for our stand! It’s a fantastic event for anyone who loves tabletop games and role-playing, and I can’t wait to connect with everyone there.

Apart from Day of Dungeons, we’ve been involved in events like FACTS, Elftopia, and Comic-Con, bringing our custom 3D printed miniatures and accessories to a wider audience. Every event is an opportunity to see the passion and creativity in the community, and it inspires me to continue pushing the limits of what’s possible with 3D printing.

What’s Next for Little Legends Minis?

Looking ahead, we’re always working on new ways to bring your ideas to life. Whether you’re a fan of tabletop games, a cosplayer in need of custom props, or someone who just loves to see quality craftsmanship, we’re here to help. With every new project, I’m reminded of why I started this journey in the first place—because I truly enjoy the process and the connections it brings.

Thank you for being part of this adventure. If you’re in the region of Ghent, or visiting one of the events, feel free to stop by and say hello! And if you have a custom project in mind, I’d love to hear about it.

Until next time—stay creative!
