What can you scan and how big?
From tiny minis and props to full-body people and larger items. Mail-in for small to medium objects. On-site scanning for large or immobile pieces in the Ghent/Evergem area (wider BE on request).
What do I receive?
A clean, watertight file ready for print or edit. Standard: STL or OBJ. Color options: OBJ with textures, PLY, or GLB on request. Optional high-resolution resin prints and pro painting.
Do you capture color and texture?
Yes. We offer color scanning. You can get a colorized 3D model for digital use. Physical prints are typically single-color resin, which we can prime and paint to match your reference.
How accurate is it?
High detail suitable for miniatures, cosplay parts, and prototypes. For tight fits or tolerances, share your critical dimensions in the quote request so we can validate during scanning and cleanup.
Mail-in vs on-site
Mail-in: you are responsible for inbound shipping and any transit damage before the item reaches us. Pack securely, add plenty of padding, and use tracked and insured shipping. We notify you upon safe receipt. On-site: we come to you for large or fragile items (travel fee).
How should I prepare an object?
Clean and dry. Avoid shiny, transparent, or very dark glossy surfaces. If needed, we can apply a removable matting spray with your approval to improve capture.
How should I prepare for a person scan?
Wear fitted, non-reflective clothing and remove shiny accessories. Tie long hair into a tight bun to reduce flyaways and improve capture around the head and neck. Choose a comfortable pose you can hold briefly.
Who owns the files and is it confidential?
You do. We treat projects as confidential and can sign an NDA. On request, we can delete working files after delivery. Please only submit items you have the right to scan and reproduce.
